Have "flying saucers"
visited the earth? If so, who are they?
Where (or when) do they come from? Does the
government have any information regarding these
questions? Perhaps not definitive answers, but any
information at all? You better believe they do.
Starting as early as 1947, there was something called
"Project Bluebook" which was in place to identify,
contain, investigate, and finally cover up all suspected
alien encounters. It was officially shut down
years ago, but many people think it was simply given a
new name (such as "Majestic") and continued.
One of the more interesting
developments in the case in past twenty years or so was
in 1989, when a physicist named Robert Lazar went public
with claims that he had worked on a secret government
project in the Nevada desert, attempting to
reverse-engineer alien spacecraft to find out their
system of propulsion.
Lazar's story began when he
started looking for a better job while still employed at
the Los Alamos laboratories. He claims that Edward
Teller (the prime architect of the hydrogen bomb) told
him to apply to a specific government contract company
and that he would be hired. When asked later about
this supposed meeting Teller gave the following rambling
response: "Look, I don't know Bob Lazar. I might
have said to somebody I met him and liked him. You
are trying to force questions on me that I simply won't
answer."
Anyway, Lazar applied to EG&G
(the government contract company) and was hired.
He was investigated and given a clearance of "Majestic",
which supposedly is higher than even the President's.
He was taken by bus (with blacked out windows) to his
new work place, which was called Area 51. It has
also gone by the names of the Skunk Works, S/4, the
Ranch, the Groom Lake Facility, and Dreamland.
Once at the facility, Lazar
claims he saw and worked on nine different discs (of the
"flying saucer" variety) as well as possibly seeing some
diminutive aliens speaking with other scientists.
Lazar was harassed and threatened by guards on a regular
basis to ensure he wouldn't speak of his work to anyone.
After he left his job there he reports that he was
regularly threatened, and the government has refuted all
his claims, even to the point of saying he never worked
at Los Alamos. To his credit, Lazar has produced
an internal phone directory from Los Alamos with his
name and extension number on it, and has even produced
his Federal W-2 tax form, complete with an annotation
regarding his "MAJ" clearance.
The most controversial
portion of his story, and the portion he is most
reluctant to discuss, involves secret briefing papers he
claims to have seen. The aliens (according to the
briefing papers) consider humans to be nothing more than
"containers" for souls. At certain key points in
human history, the aliens have manipulated human embryos
to produce religious figures, to give the "containers" a
system of rules to live by, thereby making them less
likely to damage themselves. If that part of the
story is true, it certainly seems to have backfired.
I cannot think of any single item or cause in the
history of mankind that has created more warfare and
death than religion.
